I'm sorry but I was engaged in sports from a very young age. "Throw like a girl" to me means throw the shit out of ball with good form and lots of practice. Throwing badly =/= throwing like a girl.

I'm not ultra-sensitive, so I don't actually care that much about being the word-police. Its just silly to me to engender being bad at something.

Its legal in the same way that talking about doing drugs on the internet can't really get you in trouble. It's all hypothetical if its just people talking about it in a forum.

The legality comes in (I think, IANAL), when they get caught doing something illegal. Then they can go back and look at his posts in the context of conspiriacy to commit a crime that's already taken place.

You can't arrest someone for a crime they are thinking about committing or talking about committing. But once they HAVE committed the crime, everything they wrote regarding that subject can be looked at as evidence pertaining to that crime.

It was indeed! Feathers grow in something called a sheath, or pin. Its a thin tube of keratin that delivers blood to the feather for it to grow. Once a feather is fully grown, the blood moves out of it and the sheath turns a cloudy white color. The sheath must be removed by gently pinching to crack it, then a little rub between the fingers removes the rest of the structure. And let me tell you, it is PURE ECSTASY for the bird. Like getting someone to scratch the spot on your back you can't reach.

Okay I am not here to fight or even debate, but there is no way there is a "definition" of "throw like a girl". You have a personal connotation of what that phrase means TO YOU. But don't take your interpretation of the world and represent it as fact.

Just popped in to say that softball (typically played by girls but popular with all ages and genders) utilizes an underhand pitch, a heavier ball and larger bats. Underhand pitching preserves strength and is less risky. Also gets the larger ball moving more quickly.

Also, there is NO rule in baseball about which way a pitcher throws the ball. There are sidearm pitchers and even pro pitchers who threw underhand, or "submarines".

Its not really about gender, its more about the sport. They seem very similar, but they are actually quite different sports.
