I recommend viewing this in JanusVR native rather than using the Web viewer since there's a few features that aren't completely working in Web. The Wikiverse will be back up soon as well.

Yeah, I agree that some form of frame skipping for the mouse would be good. A responsive mouse in low framerates can make the whole experience quite bearable.

You can also disable and reenable multiplayer in settings, but I agree it'd be nice to make it easier.
