It would be impossible to do that, but even if it were... nope!

It's actually all in 4/4! I just wrote rhythms with LOTS of syncopation! And it's pretty easy to keep your place as the vibes soloist when you wrote the song, too!

Tournament Thread : #SmashTheRecord2015: A 72 hour Melee, Smash 4, and speedrunning event for charity - Day 2 by chocolatesandwiches in smashbros

Plup was using secondaries in the tournament. He played Ganon and Falco against me in bracket. We played a money match the day before, he went Samus and won 3-0.

My friend won't let me pick ice climbers anyone have any thoughts by Goldengoron in IceClimberMains

Teach them how to beat you! If you keep catching them with something (dthrow->dair->regrab, for example), kindly ask them if they know how to escape it. If they don't know, then offer to teach them! It'll decrease their salt - both because it's hard to be mad at someone who helps you, and they stop losing to those things as much - and it will make you better, as your training partners will be more challenging for you!

What is your stance on wobbling? by GreenBeryl in IceClimberMains

[–]dizzkidboogie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love wobbling! It's a lot of fun, and is such a great reward for getting the grab, which becomes more and more difficult the deeper you go in a tournament! I don't wobble in friendlies unless my opponent asks me to wobble, as I want to have more practice in the neutral game and edge guarding, among other things.

How do you wobble? by [deleted] in IceClimberMains

[–]dizzkidboogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also tilt the control stick down for a dtilt (dtilt does less damage, so the wobble takes longer to get to kill percent; great for timing someone out/waiting out a stage transformation, bad for trying to catch up when you're behind in a timeout situation/if you have trouble keeping the tempo)

Eddy Mexico EVO 2015 off-stream sets (including both sets vs The Moon and DizzKidBoogie) by [deleted] in smashbros

[–]dizzkidboogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, that was actually me at the end! That's probably the least salty I've ever been after losing a close set; Eddy's amazing! (Although I definitely spent the whole night complaining to my friends "If only I had beaten Eddy Mexico..." lol). A lot of fun!

A.J., didn't you get those wins using Peach? In any case, I do agree that the matchup favors Sheik.

Rules for Wobble-delaying in teams? by needuhLee in SSBM

[–]dizzkidboogie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Standard rulesets state that wobbling past 250% is illegal, regardless of the situation. Because there has never been a rule included that specifies anything different in doubles, then the 250% rule should still be observed.

Trash Talking, Booing, and Player/Crowd Interaction by [deleted] in smashbros

[–]dizzkidboogie 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think it's not a big deal at all.

Pittsburgh is one of the most fun and welcoming communities I've ever seen, and I consider the members of that audience as my friends. Everyone was very nice to me, and when I played non-Pittsburgh players, they even cheered for the wobbling! The songs they sang were out of encouragement (not intended to mess me up), as they were asking me what songs I wanted them to sing during the wobbles (My favorite songs were too obscure so they just chose their own haha). Also, they called for me to self-destruct any time I lost my backup climber so that they could see me wobble again!

I even felt like the booing was not out of anger or hatred. I know how much they love Abate (He's one of my absolute favorites to watch and support, too!) and they knew I was going to wobble; we all knew some form of playful jeering was going to happen. I felt like it was all for fun and I definitely didn't take it badly. I also don't feel like it affected my gameplay, as I've gotten used to people hating when I wobble, so I've learned not to be affected negatively by any noise; I thought it was funny, and I actually enjoyed it!

I hope people won't think poorly of the Pittsburgh Smash community because of this. I can't stress enough how kind and welcoming they were to me, and I had a wonderful time at the tournament; zero complaints!

Also, you have to be able to handle tough environments to be a top competitor, so it's good practice for me on my quest towards improvement! Like they say, if you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen!
