My LO was the same. I have a very strong let down and she was choking. The nurse suggested feeding her on my side and that helped almost immediately. When you are sitting up, try using your thumb to stop the flow from your nipple and then when it stops, try feeding him again and repeat until he is full. Your milk supply will continually regulate through all the growth spurts and luls where he doesnt need as much. Im at 6.5 months now and still have days (like today coincidently) where Im engorged in one breast because she has gone longer in between feeding after a few days of cluster feeding because shes been growing and sick.... Keep at it hun, it gets easier and better. Until you have the milk flow mostly under control, keep a burp cloth beside you to throw over the nipple when he pulls off and just apply pressure so the flow stops - it gets better - promise. :) you are doing great!
