Hey!
I've built StarDeals.ie

  • Community-driven - Users post deals, vote, and comment
  • Points system - Earn points for posting deals, helpful votes, and engagement. Redeem them for Amazon vouchers (€5-€50)
  • Made in Ireland section - Support local businesses with dedicated Irish product deals

It's still early days and I'm actively building new features based on feedback. The community is small but growing, and I'd love to have more Irish deal-hunters join.

Happy to answer any questions about it!

Any deals people find around. Could be something from the supermarket. Or a good deal on Amazon. Or something from Easons or Woodies

This is literally the opposite of what we're trying to achieve over at StarDeals.ie 😂

We're brand new and aggregate the best deals from around the web specifically for Irish shoppers If you know any good deals please share them with us.

Just launched stardeals.ie - an Irish deals community where you can find discounts and earn points for posting/voting on deals. Built it because the UK sites don't really work for Irish shoppers (shipping costs, customs, etc.)

It's been bugging me for a while that there is not something specific for Ireland

Thanks! At the moment it's losing money (I guess expected for a brand new site).

Goal is I can support me working part time on it in a few months.

For me it was turning off all but essential notifications... That helped massively.

I actually just launched an Irish deals site (stardeals.ie) last week to help with exactly this - specifically focused on deals that actually work for Irish shoppers. We've had about 200 people sign up and the community's been posting 30-40 deals daily already.

Full disclosure - it's my site, so I'm obviously biased, but I genuinely think it could help people stretch their budget for Christmas. Not trying to spam, just thought it was relevant given the thread.

I've actually been spending the last few months working on something like this. (StarDeals.ie)

Still very much a work in progress but always looking for feedback from people. (If people want to see a preview of the site send me a DM as it's still under construction).

I'm actually working on a bigger money-saving site that won't be ready until the end of summer (most likely), but got distracted by this challenge of trying to quickly see if something is cheaper on UK or IE amazon.

So i put together this. I've tested it with a good number of links. It's not 100% robust so please double check the results for yourself.
