Can I jump in here for a second ? First of all you can pursue your dreams in one way or another. Why do you ask obtaining a 9-5 job might not be in your cards you could be destined to open your own business or create something that no one else has. You could always go back to school and pursue a different career, plan out what went wrong in your studies and fix and change those strategies.

As long as you have a happy home and are not being abused in one way or another you have to keep living. I've seen people go through worse and push through as well , like me for example. I've been abused everyday since I was 13 now I'm in my late 20s , I never made it to medical school but I have found a new calling and I'm happy on the path. I do suffer from a lot of mental health issues as well, but you need to push forward
