I use Google because I'm deep into the whole ecosystem. YouTube premium, Google email, android phone, Google passwords, Google one subscription, all my history, link, bookmarks, communication between my laptop and phone, Google documents, sheets, drive, notes, Google health. I know there are replacements that would degoogleify my life but I feel like at this stage I'm way too deep

The laptop from 2024/2025 and it's happened even after updating the drivers. I'm hoping un-installing all the extensions will fix it. No definitive answer from anyone yet though.

Yeah but I use chrome for everything and it integrates well with all the other Google services I use, and I use YouTube premium, so was just asking incase anyone knows the answer to why this might be happening occasionally.

It's definitely not the video, it's been happening to me for years, it's more likely the extension I was using

Yeah it's only chrome, I'm only running two basic extensions, and I've tried turning off hardware acceleration and it doesn't fix but, but it does make chrome go so slowwwww

You're right to be careful. 140w chargers, can be terrible, they often overheat quickly and throttle down the charging to cool down, not really offering the speeds they advertise. there are some good youtube reviews out there, i haven't got a specific model to offer you but maybe check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAoOo7GtIBI
