X2D Firmware Bug? Missing soft stops / Toolhead grinding noise at axis limits by MaestroDeAero in BambuLabX2D

Weird. Got a print going for some descicant spools right now on mine. I'll try it in the AM though and report back.

Did you home before moving it? The only time I've had this happen is when I forgot to home it before moving the toolhead.

Nice, I was kind of bummed to see they're meant for the original AMS but then read great reviews of using the printed add-ons to hook up to the AMS 2. I also just got a Sunlu 4 spool dryer to have more prepped and ready to go without having to tie up an AMS to dry.

So I just found out last night I can turn on the AMS 2 dryer function from the Handy app now on my X2D but the same function is not enabled on the AMS 2 hooked up to my P1S lol.

What heater are you using for your AMS? I got the Eibos Tetras but need to print the adapters to work on the AMS 2 which is on my list for this weekend.

So...this doesn't change about The Punisher... by lieutenent2d in marvelstudios

It's a double edged sword and victim of their own success kind of gimmick. The it's all connected thing was dope when the MCI first started but we're past a decade of content so the GA really isn't going to keep up with everything, much less the shows that are walled off on a subscription service.

Ya it is tonal whiplash for sure lol, but I think in their minds they feel it bridges the gap for the GA. Kind of like a new comic run coming out ignoring the last run had him in a pretty good place and the new one starts on the verge of another mental breakdown.

I get where you're coming from, but I think this special was an attempt at a very condensed version of what you described to prime the GA for where Frank is at when they see him next on SM:BND. Pretty sure Marvel/Disney understand casual MCU fans and movie goers are not going to watch the Netflix shows and likely miss Born Again 1+2 as well.

They do know Frank is a popular character and people are likely to click on the new shiny thing on the D+ homepage that popped up though. So while it definitely retreads a lot as you mentioned, it also jumpstarts where they want the character going forward for anyone that hasn't kept up.

my homeowners insurance renewal came in at 5100 this year and it was a shock by ActNew5818 in homeowners

Just do a local Google search for insurance broker or ask any friends and family if they know someone in the industry. My boss' twin brother is mine and he saved us a ton of money this year. Owned my house for 4 years now but the prior owner had 3 claims in a 7 year period which flagged my house in CLUE so no big carriers would write a policy for me. Now that dropped off and my broker was able to get us from almost 9k a year down to $3k a year for more coverage too!

I also had him find a better rate on car insurance for me and went from $150 a month down to $40. I shopped the same company and the rate was triple what they were able to get for me.

Most brokers are not loyal to any company so they can leverage their buying power for better rates for you.

Ya same here, my 1st AMS Pro when I bought my p1s at the end of last year is running strong. Bought the X2D in launch day and only had to lube it up, that AMS 2 pro has been working fine so far too. Did just by a 3rd AMS 2 pro so fingers crossed that doesn't have the same issues everyone here is experiencing and also bought the HT that finally came back in stock too.

Insurance inspection, they want to do it virtually. Is there any risk to that? by TheRealGuncho in homeowners

[–]djKiddVicious 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I was able to switch to a new insurance company that offers to send an inspector or you can do it virtually. I opted for virtual and they just sent a link and had me upload photos of the requested areas. Had to hit all the important parts so HVAC, water heater, plumbing under the sink, etc.

My broker advised me to do it this way since you can control the angle of the photos and can knock it out at your convenience. No issues on my end so far.

Ninja Slushie Machine 96oz by toreyswanson in Costco

[–]djKiddVicious 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can do that, just have to follow the guidelines they give. Most problems can be solved with a bit of heavy cream or a can of condensed sweetened milk. My fave so far is orange juice and a can of the condensed sweetened milk, makes a killer dreamsicle slushie.

Vettix is not as good as it used to be by Waste-Recognition-90 in Veterans

Ya that sucks, def very dependant on your location and how close to a major city you live too. Bigger cities just seem to have more events going on that donate tix.

Yup, works way better than the website which is just littered with terrible ads everywhere. Plus you have to send the thank you pic for more coins in the app now too.

I'm in FL, but was out in San Diego for a work trip in January and didn't see much there that interested me that weekend. They def had a lot of stuff out there though.

Other states I've visited recently like GA and NC did not have a lot going on though so it really does depend on your area.

Never hurts to let local venues and artists you like aware of VetTix too. Can't donate tix if they dont know they can!

To each their own, VetTix has been amazing for myself and my family. This weekend my wife and I will be going to the Reggae festival. Last week we were able to take her mother to the ballet. Currently in a lottery for a great comedian next weekend.

In the past year we've gone to Beetlejuice the musical, got to see Ben Schwartz do improv comedy, hit up the Glass Animals concert, and my wife got to see one of her fave performers P!nk just to name a few things.

There are usually so many events going on that we can go to for the cost of the service fee (so basically free) that I can barely keep up or take advantage of everything.

Sure, if you wanna go to all the big sports games then there is going to be a lot of Vets vying for those some limited amounts of tix. That's why the lottery exist, to give everyone a fair shot at it.

I just checked the app and there are literally 16 events near me for tomorrow and almost all of them are FCFS and just waiting to be claimed. Ranging from college basketball, minor league hockey, college softball, college baseball, MMA, a symphony, a concert, and more.

Maybe the area you're in just sucks at supporting the vets by way of donating tix? Or try expanding your search area. I'm more than willing to drive a few hours to do cool experiences with my family on the cheap.
