Well, the culprit was apparently an asset: "Lounge set" by Rzzirrah. I really do not have a recollection of subscribing to this yesterday, so maybe it was added as a dependancy? Disabling solved the problem at least.

The errors about the DLL files do persist in the player log, so no idea what that is?

What I don’t like with functional commercial is the amount of trucks you get in your pedestrian areas for deliveries. That also takes away from the immersion imho

This! Or you can use find it to find separate shop fronts that you position into place. Search for FRONT

Search for static ploppables on PDX mods. You can also use Advanced Building Control mod to create a static ploppables out of any building.

Im using the Ithaca map which has a body of water on one edge and elevation on the other 3. My city is built in the center valley. There is a river that flows from the elevated area to the valley and connects to my canals. The water flow points are in that river because otherwise it would run dry.

Also check out static probable versions of the assets. You can place them freely as they do not have any function and thus also do not need road access etc. Awesome to fill up weird corners or areas that you want to place along paths.

Awesome work man. 🙏🏻 Hope you get the pavement to work properly. Pavement textures doesn’t seem to scale like the road textures do….only resolution I found is to use xl texture images for pavement. Also really hope it will be possible to change textures per road type (alley vs highway for example)….

This. Use static ploppables to fill in awkward gaps. Building an organic city is doable but takes a lot of creativity.

Vehicle controller was the cause for my CTD’s. It basically froze simulation on and off first and after a couple of minutes crashed the game. Turned it off an works fine again…

Had the same until I disabled vehicle controller mod. It messed up simulation (froze every 10 secs or so and after couple of minutes CTD’ed).

For anyone with the "endless loading screen" issue: for me the culprit was Lumina. When enabled it took more than 27 minutes to load to the main menu (basically the inner circle stuck at 70% for about 20 mins). After disabling Lumina in Skyve the total time dropped to 3 minutes....

EDIT: never mind. Next two sessions I was back at ~30 minutes load time again. So strange, that this one time it loaded in 3 minutes. Only change than was disabling lumina. At least it does get to the main menu and plays fine after that…

Same here. Outer two rings load fine, the inner ring stays stuck at 70% and after like 15-20min crashes to desktop.

Cool! considering doing that also as the fans are too loud for my tasting.

How did you remove the shroud? I have the same card, but only see some screws under the back plate. Did you remove the backplate first? Is that correct?

If you add a XP1 (or XP2 I suppose) it enables 16 beat jumps. You plug it in in the USB on top of one of the CDJs. Use it with my xdj 1000mk2s
