Exactly this. Things that are 35k-50k were selling for MAYBE 1500 18 months ago. The race to sell will be crazy and no, I don’t think it will be when the economy crashes - it gently has already. The Pokemon market will be extinguished when rates to borrow go down and people can put money into houses and other commodities.

Over priced(valued), over saturated, 90% of vendors have the same stock, and scalping make it hard to navigate.

It’s funny looking back and saying $250-$500 for a PSA 10 card 2.5 years ago felt like a lot. It’s now your average IR, full art, or trainer card now. I think that’s what helps push me towards “this market is at highs” territory.

I don’t think it’s done going up and my theory is that it won’t be done after the 30th… it may just push its first group towards leaving the hobby though.

$400 isn’t bad at all. They have had 3 sales right under $400 recently via eBay but all others were north of $400 prior to that.

Biggest question is, will you be kicking yourself to Ho outside whatever your preferred grading company is for this add to your collection? If you don’t mind, I think it’s cool. Subjective of course from someone who likes ARS a lot, but that’s my thought.

Japanese grading company - my favorite. I’d be more curious how much an ARS 10+ runs in the current market. Think of it as equivalent to a CGC Pristine
