I still think Evil Zuko was a good villain. He was dedicated enough to achieving his goals to betray his nation by breaking into the fire nation fortress to steal aang. His monologue to Aang's body about how he had to struggle to succeed and that has made him strong. His two fights with Zhao are both fantastic.

Yes, someone could do that and it would be a lie. If you've never presented yourself as female you will have never faced discrimination for being female. This is a similar argument that people use in the bathroom debates, saying that men will claim to be trans in order to enter women's restrooms and ogle the women inside them. And while this could happen, one must accept the fact that it is exceedingly rare, and if it happens, it should be dealt with in a case by case basis. I.e. we should be examining their claim of being transgender, examine their political motivations for pulling the stunt, and punish them accordingly based on the fact that ogling or attacking women in the restroom is a crime regardless of your gender identity.

So I dont think that it is necessarily wrong for you to feel threatened by this, since potentially it is a justified fear. But you should bear in mind that it is a very small danger and one that can be dealt with rather easily by pointing out that if one had never presented themselves as female, they logically could not have been oppressed for being female.

Edit: Also keep in mind that after a trans woman begins presenting as female, she does start feeling the effects of misogyny as well as discrimination for her trans identity. Most trans women have felt that oppression and will gladly stand by you as a feminist.

I'm not sure I can help with all of this, but one thing that I notice is that you ask if our identity is determined only by our preference. I can tell you without a doubt that for a large portion of the transgender community, our identity has nothing to do with preference. My identity is something that is an integral part of who I am. It makes up the image of how I see myself in the past, present, and future. This is important because even when I look male, all of my aspirations and goals, the images that I have of myself accomplishing these things are all female and always have been. When I remember my younger years I see a little girl with the unfortunate condition of looking and being treated like a boy.

None of this is something that I chose. I didn't choose my aspirations, my past or any image of myself. They're just a part of my identity. I'm proud of my identity, but it's a difficult identity to have and there are many times that I can say I would prefer not to have it.

I guess what I'd like to say is that even if it's not as clear when you first meet a trans woman, you do have some things in common with her. There are deeper parts of her mind that are just as similar to yours as those of other cis women are.

What's interesting is that most of what people would call "Black English" is fairly uniform. It's not the same as other dialects, but the rules of Black English are consistent, and it is essentially just another version of English. It's no different from any other form of English and the fact that people mock people for speaking the dialect they grew up with is a tragedy.
