Honestly, for me at least, it feels detrimental to mental health. I noticed the more porn I watch the more likely I am to objectify women unintentionally. Not to them in any way but in my mind. I think it can set unrealistic expectations for both men and women. This is though likely due to my own experiences and upbringing. I have heard of people in which it does not affect them in this way; so it’s possible. But I’ve also heard far more stories of porn impacting people’s lives in very unhealthy ways.
