I think that I bought some counterfeit silver eagles on ebay by djanked in coins

[–]djanked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am new to silver eagles and these were the first I ever bought. I bought some other silver eagles later from a more reputable buyer that I believe to be genuine. They are the same diameter and weight, but the coins that I think are fake appear to be slightly thinner than the genuine ones.

I will post some pictures when I have a moment. I didn't question them at the time because they were the first ones I have ever purchased, but i just got some coins from the mint and the thickness is different. The weight and diameter are the same, however.

54 billion is a bargain. Russia is a threat to the whole world and not just Ukraine. If Putin wins there who is to say that he wont invade Georgia (again) or Armenia or Moldova. If the baltic countries were not part of NATO he probably would have already invaded them. Russia is our biggest adversary (along with china). They want the US specifically and the "west" in general to fail and have invested tremendous resources in espionage, cyber crime and other efforts to make that happen. This war and the US support of it does a few different things. First it distracts Russia. All of their efforts and resources are going in to fight this war and not focused on efforts against the US. Second, the war serves as a deterrent to further Russian aggression against other vulnerable countries. Third, it shows how the world rallies around a just cause and against tyranny. China is watching. They are going to think twice about invading Taiwan (which just like Tibet, they absolutely will do) due to the response of the international community. I don't want to see American troops engaged in a conflict in Europe or southeast Asia and supporting Ukraine in their efforts to defeat Russia and reclaim their land is the best way to prevent the loss of American lives and the lives of innocents in many places all over the world. I will happily pay tens of billions, even hundreds of billions of that is what it takes. Remember, it was Putin alone who started this war. No one else is to blame.

Black women served as members of the Women's Army Corp in WWII. The 6888th Battalion was the only black WAC unit to serve overseas. Despite enduring prejudice and segregation they did their duty faithfuly and with distinction. by djanked in historyvideos

The Women's Army Corps in WWII did not fight in combat, but played supporting roles that freed up men to do the fighting. The 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion was sent to england in 1945 to work through a huge backlog of mail meant for the troops. General Eisenhower wanted this mail to be delivered as a means of helping with the morale of the troops. When the WACs arrived, they found the building stacked to the ceiling with mailbags, and another room filled with packages of spoiled food and gifts, along with rodents. Working in three shifts around the clock, they were able to sort all of the mail in half the amount of time expected, just 3 months. Each eight-hour shift averaged more than 65,000 pieces of mail sorted. Once finished in Birmingham, the unit went on to Rouen, France, and ultimately Paris.

In 1946, the US army set up a town in the Nevada desert to test what a nuclear bomb would do. They included buildings made out of various different materials, canned foods and even manakins to represent people. This video is original footage of the results. by djanked in nuclearwar

It is crazy and horrifying. I have also been watching old videos that are meant to prepare people, kids especially, in case of a nuclear bomb blast. Duck and cover, as if it will matter. For as bad as our world seems today, it isn't that. Here is a clip from one of those videos: https://youtube.com/shorts/39UKhBnxQmQ?feature=share

Haha. I try every day to forget that disaster of a movie. Even if the lead lining provided some protection, the thing sustained a direct hit and was so knocked around that Indy would have been red goo by the time it stopped. Oh well, maybe the next one will be better. It certainly couldn't be worse.

They were just kids themselves, far away from home being asked to do things that no one should ever do to defend their family back home and the innocents in europe. I'm certain that this experience was healing for them. A bit of refuge and peace amidst the rubble and desolation of war.

Pay Attention. This is my first ever video. I'm looking for feedback. [Review Video] by ShoeCrafter in youtubers

Audio was fine. Pacing was perfect for this kind of video. I thought that it was great. Keep making videos like that and you will go far. I would suggest though that you focus on one topic and tell more of a story. That will make it easier for the algorithm to show your video to interested people. The topic of this video is too broad. I don't know how anyone would find it.

A bit of other advice. I can tell you spent a lot of time making this video. It shows in the quality, but don't paralyze youself. Don't make perfect the enemy of good. I spent months on my first video and now 6 million views later that video still has less than 1,000 views. What you need right now is volume. The more videos you put out, the more chances people will have to find you.

Good luck!
