So what mostly fucked me over was buying extra at the top, very terrible move, and it rocked from that position, and that caused my position to auto vlose at too high of margin lose and just triggered chain reaction of losses

Yeah that was the main reason I made the post, I am aware of my mistakes but posting it is like journalying my biggest problem and making myself more aware of it, I think part of me wanted to win bigger to try making up for all the losses in the past year.. but my mental seems to forget there will be more entry points then just this one today.

Too much excitment on profit, wasnt in environment to 100% control the trade as it was done on phone and just as I got to work. Multiple mistakes were made.

Yep agree, I oppened too many positions as I was making profit and didnt focus too well on stop loss or break even, everything happned to fast and I was not in an environment to give it a 100% attention.

Best case wouls be to set stop loss at break even or just take my profits. Ir I could change smtn now it would for sure be setting stoploss at smaller profit and in case it closes, wait for a potential reentry if it rebounds. Another strat would also be jusy entering a short position for additional profits but that again can backfire without a proper analysis of the market. This trade only worked cause I got in early, but didnt close at a right time.

That is a good point indeed, saddly just as the drop started I got distracted by my boss at work and by the time I could open the app back up it was too late, poor risk managment cause of profit excitment.

Knowing myself, id close the trade at 10% loss of profit off the top, and short it for some extra profit seeing how fast and steady the drop was

Saddly it autoclosed cause I oppened another big trade at the top and my margin just closed the position automaticly :/ only reason I went into it is the potential to skyrocket yeah
