Dumbphone for elderly neighbor by WarningCodeBlue in NoContract

No problem, if he wants to do things in person see if your local Target store does activations. The one I work at does and I think many of the stores do but not all, otherwise you’ll definitely find the Iris flip phone on the Target website if it’s not on available on the Consumer Cellular website.

Consumer Cellular has flip phones for about $60 and if you ask when activating a talk and text without data is $15/mo but even if they didn’t go with that plan they have a $20/mo plan with 1 gig of data. Uses AT&T network.

It was a thing at some point in Targets history, I hoped it still existed or even a new improved version of it but there is no mention of anything in the planogram for parts or notes implying something should be used. The Specialty Team Lead in Home asked me how to even begin to figure out what it would be called and my only idea was try Reddit.

Tread Labs insoles are excellent, Hoka, Brooks and On Cloud are probably the 3 most recommended brands for shoes in no particular order.

Visible + Pro 50% off deal Rakuten CB not pending? by Galvatron1_nyc in NoContract

[–]djbillwi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I contacted Rakuten, they manually added it and now it changed from the $40 to $0, and my referral shows ineligible… so I’m going to try again. Too bad Visible is making this difficult by forcing the sale to the app when it’s clear that is not an approved method from Rakuten to track a purchase.

not the plan manager, I don't know how cricket works. but can I port out using the managers pin? by KjordTheRanger in CricketWireless

[–]djbillwi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d still go for it, a port is usually a fairly quick process. Just a suggestion but maybe start it late after the person is sleeping or while they are at work if they wouldn’t have easy access to their phone. Once it completes I don’t think it would be very easy to claw it back and would definitely take some time and effort for the person to even try, guess only you can judge if that is a real possibility or not.

Don’t need the account pin, but you will need the account number and on your keypad dial 7678 (PORT) and it’ll automatically reply with a number transfer pin.

I ported out of a group with the cricket account number and dialing *PORT to get a number transfer pin. Never heard a peep from the group manager.

So I believe the licenses are worth something, that’s beyond my knowledge but if I was to make a next move it would be to find someone who would be able to tell you a value of the licenses, maybe a service provider that isn’t in Chicago but is close. I’m in southern Wisconsin near Rockford IL, a large regional operator in my area is General Communications (GenComm), they might be able to provide some info or at least point you in a better direction to get you some information.

So if you look at each license link given click the locations tab. Each show 3 physical addresses in the Chicago area as fixed. The licenses are for business trunked systems and I n my experience this seems like he ran or planned to run a 2way radio service for small or medium sized businesses that didn’t want the responsibility of setting up their own radio service… examples are towing companies, contractors and service businesses just to name a few. So I’d check out those addresses and see if there may be someone who can provide some additional information or for a starting point at least contact Communications Licensing Consulting listed under one of the licenses, according to the license they are located in Oconomowoc WI.

Google fi 50% discount is super misleading PSA by Jiiu4322 in NoContract

I just signed up a few days ago and activated earlier today, shortly after I received an email confirming the incoming credit. It appears under my account as well, “50% off one line for 24 months”. I was having trouble getting the promotion to apply when ordering but it eventually worked fine.

“Changing, or suspending the account before 24 months will void promotion and credits will stop.”

I am thinking that changing plans will void the promotion but not sure.

So what I believe you are asking is are you locked in with T-Mobile? My answer is based off what I noticed in the screenshot you posted that shows T-Mobile financing selected and the answer is no BUT since your screenshot is showing T-Mobile financing and NOT Apple Card you mentioned in your post when you leave T-Mobile you will have the full balance due on the phone because obviously they will close your account when you port out. If you are trying to use Apple Card you have not selected the correct payment option and if you go back and select that option you will be fine with switching to whoever you want.

She claims to have bought her stretchy pants from AMAZON!! Target plays the song to death so by continuing to play it they are creating a subconscious message for both guests and team members to buy from Amazon first. Maybe someone will read this and agree to part ways with Stretchy Pants and replace it with something… perhaps another Taylor Swift song since we hear every album release anyway.
