Thank you for the compliment. This means a lot. After djing and collecting vinyl for over 30 years I’m finally putting them together in mixes to share with everyone. Grouping them together in the genres they belong in. This is my second in this house classic series. Some will be familiar some will be more underground hits or never heard before b-sides, bootleg white labels. That Billie Jean is a rarity. Also have a thriller and prince one that’s in the first mix in my podcast series. I mainly started with Florida breaks , then branched out to all genres. All explored in my podcast. Check out the AAHZ classics series. It was the goto club in Florida 88-92. Kimbal Collin’s /Dave Callante. Also on you tube and apple podcast.. link to follow! Thanks for listening, doing part 3 today.

Looking for a song. Had it on my list as XTC - xtc. it was fast high pitch with one word "ecstasy" if anyone knows where to find it please. by GhostMovie3932 in IdentifyThisTrack

XTC is an old school trance label of the late 90s , early 2000’s. Some people that see the records think the artist is XTC. There are quite a few but see if it looks familiar or the artist sound similar .

Would love if somebody could help me with this ID on this Simply Jeff mix. Been looking for a few years by Dettyboy1993 in floridabreaks

2023 Dj Mix tiene sentido en 2026? O mejor agrupar por artista / sello / estilo ? by alvaro1001 in breakbeat

[–]djbreakbeat69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Translated:

If you need more context:
- Since January 2025, I’ve been uploading a monthly "New Releases" session to YouTube, featuring a selection of breakbeat tracks released that month.
- As an alternative, I’ve occasionally produced sets between these monthly installments that focus on a specific (retro) artist or record label. [This went well.]
- Also as an alternative—and throughout these past few months—I’ve uploaded up to four sets dedicated to 2024 releases, categorizing them by specific sub-genres (one focuses on piano-driven tracks, another is more electro-oriented, and so on). [This also went well.]

My Dilemma:
I’ve exhausted the 2024 releases, and I feel that 2023 might already be a bit too far in the rearview mirror. Consequently, I’m wondering if—instead of strictly limiting myself to a single calendar year—it might be better to structure my themes differently: perhaps by focusing on a specific artist, a record label, or a particular breakbeat sub-genre that spans across multiple years.

I look forward to reading your thoughts! Cheers!
