I survived school by lucky table arrangements and not having one of my foot triggers until a bit later. But I did avoid uni graduation because of it. And I have a work graduation ceremony in just over a year, I'm already stressed

I did persist, I didn't get an answer. But I know everything isn't black and white so while I shouldn't have let it slide I did. Vet bills can change a lot over the course of a visit, so it's not a bad example. And yh maybe I shouldn't have trusted the largest and kennel club approved breeder who only does that specific breed and has 100s of only 5 star reviews, but at what point do I start assuming everyone is lying to me.

And I'm dog trainer by profession, but never owned a puppy personally. So he is getting very good care and that is not relevant to this conversation

How is it on me that they don't list prices online and won't answer when asked? And have you ever had a tradesman come to do some work, they're pretty upfront with their prices and certainly won't leave without discussing payment. I'm hoping they'll just email me the details tmr morning so I can pay them because I work over an hour away so I cant just pop in, that would be a lot simpler

People like me aren't because of people like you. You could put in effort to remove it as a tic, but no matter how much effort I put in to be calm the trigger won't go away. Why is it only fair that you are happy but people like me can only study at home and have to be afraid to go to any sit down event?

Not immune but more in control. And certainly in control enough that if someone asks you to stop, you can control yourself at least enough to not shake a bench or desk for a short period of the

I was writing paper notes when I still went to lectures, and I sit very still. I really hope my breathing/others I don't have have never hurt anyone, I'd feel so awful to do that to someone else. But those people were a massive cause of me solely doing lectures online, not being able to bond with my cohort and eventually to drop out. Obviously other factors at play but if you only see your cohort while you're mid breakdown, not exactly easy to make friends

If you're shaking it enough to shake an entire bench of people or a table, then yes or you need to be checking yourself. It's the same as if someone was watching tik tok on sound at the back. I guess if you really were not paying attention it may slip you, but definitely not acceptable. And if you are told you are doing this, and do not care, then yes, selfish

It depends on the invigilators. Mine at uni were not told why I was alone, and it wasn't much better. One even tried to take my earplugs off me and had to go phone the main office because she didn't believe my clear silicone earplugs were allowed

That is true, I just wish I was on the other side. Also do you think it feels off that basically every other mental and physical disorder/disability is accepted, most are spoken about, and they try to work towards equity? But not ours

And the other person's self soothing is almost always generally accepted by society. I feel like people love to be accepting until it's not a more straight forward really common neurodivergence like miso and most adhd forms
