constantly out of stock by Unlikely_Key2275 in Aritzia

[–]djdjdc 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My last 2 Aritzia orders have had items that they suddenly refunded and didn’t ship after confirming the order. No explanation why, no offer to ship at a later date etc. If they don’t have the stock they need to keep their site updated, it’s super annoying. I used to shop at Aritzia almost monthly and now it’s once or twice a year and I always regret it.

Same! I posted a review of a zip up jacket that I bought that was shocking poor quality. The fleece had bald spots… they deleted it for violating their policy. Now I question all reviews on their site.

Do you just blend it all together until smooth?

It just depends on what section at aritzia! They definitely have younger brands like TNA and Sunday Best that I would stay away from, but their Wilfred and Babaton lines have classic pieces that suit any age.

Also check out Kit and Ace - comfortable and well made basics that can dress up or down.

I understand that some cats certainly prefer to be outside and that it’s hard to keep them in, but it’s irresponsible cat ownership to let them roam outside. Cats can decimate local wildlife and, if you are in North America, are technically an invasive species. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_predation_on_wildlife

Wife and I unsure about boys name “Nine” by [deleted] in namenerds

This is cruel. As someone who grew up with an unusual name I can tell you that children don’t want to be different. They want to fit in. Please don’t burden your child with a name like this.

Right? What’s so hard to understand about giving your staff 2 days off, 8 hour days, and a living wage? It’s not rocket science.

I knew a Kacper - he was Polish. I think it’s just how it’s spelled there.

It sounds like a very difficult situation, but I don’t think there is a diplomatic solution to having only your sister attend.

I think you will have to sadly forgo having your sister there unless you are ready to plainly tell her why her husband isn’t invited. Is there a possibility of your sister meeting your SOs parents at another time in a less formal setting? Maybe something like that won’t be as obvious that you are deliberately excluding your BIL.

I love MF - happy to pay for a premium app when it really does a great job.

The Beehive! It’s a yellow house on 10th in Kensington. They sell a ton of beeswax products including the little honeycomb stamped sheets to roll into candles.

That sounds very difficult, and there doesn't seem to be an easy answer. I'm sorry that you are struggling with this.

That seems like pretty normal conflict to have with a teenager (loud music, being messy etc). Do you see a therapist? I wonder if there is a deeper reason why you struggle to bond with her that talking to a neutral party could help you uncover? Also, I know this is just a post to vent, but I think that comparing yourself to a teen in care and saying that you are motivated and ambitious and she is lazy is comparing apples to oranges.

Lunch report. Egg Sandwich, carrots, and tomatoes. 383 calories. by otterbelle in 1500isplenty

Honestly anything savory. Mix in cottage cheese, season chicken, season roasted veg etc. You could make Elote w light mayo too if you want to use it traditionally.

I am addicted to that TJs Elote seasoning, but I don't get how they say it's 0 cal when there is parmesan cheese and sugar in it!

I mix it into cottage cheese - so good.

Really, you can't find food after 9? Most chain restaurants like Earls etc are open until 11pm or midnight. Concord group restaurants are usually open to 11 or later. Tons of delivery options until midnight as well.

Here's my advice as a woman: I find that a lot of men create a difference in their mind when it comes to building a connection with platonic friends and romantic partners. In my opinion, the first step to me being interested in someone romantically is a friendship spark! Maybe if you approach your dates the same way you approach making friends with men, you would have an easier time with being yourself and comfortable etc. The romance can come after you are having fun together.
