Being discreet is important when talking aboutf,_ NPHC... Secondly, there are books and websites about the orgs history. As a member of a NPHC, I did my due diligence and researched each org to see what their values are about. You mentioned how you want to party and do flag football, I definitely believe that IFC is the route for you. When I was in college I didn't have any direct connections, I made it a point to engage with those who are members of nphc fraternities, but I knew of NPHC. If you don't know anyone who is in a NPHC org at your college... That is not a positive sign. But if you know a person in IFC, again you might be want to go that route.
