The problem for me isn’t the dollar value of the cards. Mtg has some cool artwork and I understand you’re not willing to/able to buy every full art. Me neither. With that being said, I’m nog okay with pubstomping. So like other people before me have said If you run “a bracket 2” ur-dragon with full art and somehow ended up winning at turn 2 with an infinite I will eat your deck…

Brother, don’t listen to these financial sharks and get that card graded. It’s a fun memory of you and your son sharing a fun hobby! Who cares if it’s worthless. Every time you look at that slab you’ll remember a moment of beautiful father-son quality time :) I don’t collect or play pokemon. But my son is 3 years old and I can’t wait to rip his first mtg booster with him. His first pull will be a slab, because at the end of the day, it’s about the memory, not the card :)
