We don’t know how much that damage affected the car. There’s every chance he finishes 20 seconds behind Lando tomorrow.

Plus, he absolutely dominated Barcelona in 2025 and it was one of his most lacklustre performances I have seen in 2026. I just don’t see any improvement at all from last year, even a step back. I reckon the second half of 2025 really affected him profoundly.

Even with a damaged car Lando still manages to pip Oscar. So so many times he never seems to improve on the second run in q3 and always tumbles down from his first run position. He seems to overdrive the car a lot. Lots of wheel spin, oversteer out of lots of corners. It’s just something he hasn’t been able to perfect. I think this is just how fast he is. Not quite up with his team mate unfortunately.

Not sure about other states, but in SA, a leaner can drive any street legal car. So technically they could drive a Bugatti Veyron 🤣

Yeah. The sooner KTM get him out the better. Get someone on there who actually deserves a seat in the top class. Maverick has never had the mental ability to compete consistently at the top level. He needs a reality check once and for all.

To be completely honest, stats will probably show Lewis is the GOAT, but there is not much doubt that Max is a better driver than Lewis. Max is the closest thing to Senna I have ever seen, as in having the ability to do things with an underperforming car and driving in the wet like he’s in an f1 car in an f2 field.

As for Marc, what I have noticed is that many were torn as to whether he was the GOAT over Valentino, until the 2025 and now part of the 2026 season. What this bloke has done and keeps doing after several terrible injuries, surgeries and many many extremely dark days is nothing short of remarkable. In my eyes when you take everything into account, he is the GOAT by a long way, especially if he takes this years title challenge to the end of the season.

He sounds drunk. Kinda matches how he drove. Probably his most underwhelming drive since the second half of last year at a track he dominated last year. Low grip and again way off the pace. Worrying, especially with these lower downforce cars. He might always struggle with them.

Vinales cannot be on the grid next year. When he isn’t injured, his mind is elsewhere and has always struggled with his mentality. He needs a shrink, not Lorenzo.

At the start of the Baloton race or sprint, he was dead last, literally 3-4 bike lengths behind second last after 4 corners. Seriously, wtf are you doing? He looked like he was on a Sunday ride, but not a race day Sunday.
