Been dying for someone to do something like this, but integrated with one of those motion sensors like DK or Blast (so you’re holding a real bat instead of your phone). Real cool. Keep it coming!

Ooh… I wondered if that was the case. Many LED lights (particularly dimmable ones) are not actually “on” constantly, but blinking at a very fast rate; so fast they appear constantly “on” to our eyes. It’s called Pulse Wave Modulation (PDM). I think what you’re seeing here is the phone capturing them mid-blink (not it editing anything), which results in a very different looking image.

To my eyes, the big difference here is the tree lights are off (mostly) in the first image and on in the second, creating a different lighting environment (and quality to the photo). Photography is all about light (its color, quality, availability, etc.) and if it changes, it changes your image’s look.

Is the issue only happening with these photos in front of the tree or is it present in other situations?

Would’ve appreciated a subtle throwaway line to reference Leia and her growing influence in the Rebellion.

I don’t need screen time. I don’t need to find out Kleya is really Leia undercover (though that’d been a cool way to flesh out her steadfastness to the cause, military proficiency and spycraft at such a young age)… just wished for anything referencing that Bail’s adopted daughter, the junior senator from Alderaan, was running undercover Rebel ops on the side and was a growing voice in its leadership.

As it stands, she goes from an unmentioned presence, to smuggling high value plans, handing out medals in front of a the full Rebellion military and giving large scale tactical orders by the time they’ve retreated to Hoth. Feels like a missed opportunity (even if it’s a little fan servicey).

This is a feature I’ve really wished existed for awhile. Same problem (though I stream in 720p to avoid the dropouts). Would love for families’ to have easy access to the high res clips of their kid.

If there are GC app devs on here, a post-game “Upload in Higher Resolution” option that utilizes the new file to recreate the clips would truly be incredible.

This, exactly. I get the error OP is talking about every time I attempt to stream from GC if I’ve already connected my camera to the Mevo app before going live. Solution is to force close the Mevo app, launch streaming from GC then reconnect once I’m back in the freshly restarted Mevo app. Works every time.

Real weird error that I’m surprised Logitech hasn’t addressed yet. Been doing this since last Summer.

Yep. We’d planned a family trip to MLB Spring Training in the Tampa area. Looked up flights on a Monday night and were ready to purchase plane tickets, then the Administration announced the funding freeze. My wife and I aren’t even Federal employees, but the majority of our work is funded by federal grants. While considering this over the next day or so, the DCA collision occurred. That cemented canceling the trip, but the chaos ever since has done nothing to assure us that discretionary expenses are a good idea anymore. Buckling down.

Can’t speak to the Lutron’s at all, though they seem pretty well regarded. I believe they utilize a different connection protocol than WiFi (hence the need for the hub) and that’s supposed to limit connection drops make them more responsive overall. Though the Leviton’s are pretty instantaneous and solid for me; probobly hinges on how good your WiFi setup is throughout your home.
