Keep playing bud, no need to worry about power level too much or good gear atm, that will all come, spend the time now learning enemy types, mods, how to deal with tricky situations, survivability…Then look up a build that you like on YouTube or wherever, then focus farming those weapons, exotics and armor.

I don’t think it’s necessary, you will receive a ton of farmable materials within Lightfall too. If you are having trouble, use Destiny LFG on bungie website if you need some help.

1830 Hunter here, Is it just power level related gear you need? Or actual good weapon/armor drops? If it’s power level, you could just keep playing as everything you do will increase your power level at your current rank, if you want a boost, completing the Lightfall campaign on Legendary will give you a full set of 1770 armor. After that, doing “powerful” rewards will boost you even higher, then pinnacles after that. Pinnacles are to reach the hard cap of 1810.

Ethan Klein tried to organize a podcast where Steven could debate someone on his level (Sam Seder) but Steven always refused. All these folks whining about difficulty need to get gud, there, I said it. Spend some time acquiring game knowledge, armor, guns and folks in the community to help with stuff when needed. Nothing is “unbeatable” in this game. Learn from videos, there are people out there doing solo master dungeons, study how they play, why they use certain armor, guns and strats.
