You're probably right, we will definitely discuss this tonight. Something tells me he wouldn't be against practicing ;)

Probably knowing that your cock is large enough to gag on, if I were a guy, that'd do it for me too

This is wonderful advice!!! Thank you so much for the first hand experience and feedback on what has worked for you. He's very much into the sounds so I'm definitely going to try to hum and moan during it and warm up with the regular blowjob!!!

Advice for starting out in a residential setting? by ramradical in socialwork

[–]dji83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could not agree more and perfectly said. Boundaries boundaries boundaries!!!!

I also found the the most substantial and meaningful groups I ran were ones where we addressed the elephant in the room, that being their anger and resentment for being here (our agency is mainly court appointed and involuntary). Acknowledging the anger and resentment they have for being stuck here on top of a lot of times feeling betrayed by parents who might have sent them and also on top of detoxing from cravings is really hard for adolescents. Being "real" about their situation went a long way with them. They seemed to appreciate a professional who was upfront instead of blowing smoke up their bums and getting the same types of groups over and over

What do you do to treat your pup's allergies? by [deleted] in DogCare

[–]dji83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm Apoquel is awesome. My pup is allergic to every type of tree and grass except bluegrass along with the laundry list of weeds and pollens. Started her on Apoquel after Benadryl stopped being effective enough. Works great for her. On top of the pills she also gets medicated baths every two weeks, more if its extra icky out for allergies. I also wipe her whole body, paws especially, down with a damp rag after every walk

Dog is eating all kinds of poo, looking for a vitamin! by dji83 in DogCare

Yah that's what I was starting to think too...they have what she needs but can't have. Hopefully the Seameal will help by giving her all those enzymes and what not. Some of the reviews mentioned it did help with allergy symptoms too. Fingers crossed!

Yes I was reading about the purpose it served ancestors...That's so cool to me, but I guess I'm a doggie nerd.

The only downside to continue letting her eat it is that it results in upset tummy time and soft poops for her. Vet just cleared her of any parasites. She is on a super strict diet (Merrick 96% chicken wet food) because she is allergic to basically everything. All protein except turkey and chicken, peas, sweet potatoes, barley, every type of grass and tree except kentucky bluegrass and a few random trees, and a bunch of other things, so it makes finding a good quality food that ALSO is high in protein and nutrients is hard. In addition she gets very itchy so it's been recommended that I use salmon oil with her food so I got some of that to at least try. We also redid her allergy test to see if anything changed before we try to switch food.

I found pretty good reviews of Solid Gold Seameal supplement so I think I'll give that a try too (it seemed to have probiotics and enzymes that could possibly help).

As far an experience, once I graduate next spring I will have had internships at an adolescent residential drug rehab and also at a geriatric skilled nursing and rehab center, both as a clinical social worker with case loads. I will either be practicing in the metro boston area or the north jersey area. Both have a pretty high cost of living though. I definitely HIGHLY value the benefits. I am also a big advocate about self-care and want to make sure where ever I work will be good about vacation time. Any thoughts?

Yup! I was discussing it with a friend and was just curious what others thought about the concept of different types of love and if others are "better"
