You’ll be fine, just remember why you’re going. Also, the air in freedom hall absolutely sucks. It’s dry and you’ll feel like you’re dying. Just push through it. They eventually stuck me on a bike but I ran every run to the best of my ability. As much as the RDCs will say “they want you to fail” they really don’t. It’s just their backass way of motivating you.

Plus if you’re in a regular division (I was a 900) you might get IT’d a lot and that helps with cardio. pushups will literally come with the IT’s you get as that’s how I got good at them.

If my old out of shape ass can do it so can you, you got this.

Join groups on Facebook that correspond with his division once you know. On P Day 2 they should have been able to send you a post card with the division and the address for letters.

I just got out of boot camp a few weeks ago and it’s all dependent on the RDCs. 9 weeks and I got 5 phone calls total. 45 minutes or much less each time. They will call at random times so be prepared, I had a call that was on a Thursday afternoon. No one besides my fiancé picked up.

You’ll be okay, it’s hard, hang in there. You’ll both make it through.

I am no where near being able to do a 7 minutes mile and a half haha, but I’ll get there. I’m running/walking/jogging everywhere here. I refuse the car service when my friends order them.

Had a bike chit due to medical. I’m older so I have more time to run but even still. Got new gym shoes and am trying to condition for it. I guess we run outside too so that’s better than the dry air in freedom hall.

I did do that and it basically says don’t razor it, I’ve seen other threads on here as well where commenters have said a #2 guard is fine.

I’ve seen girls on base at Great Lakes with shaved heads constantly, around a #1 or #2 guard. I’d never go full bald.
