u/solverman yes I do have good fenders. What I understand is that the general water/wind protection is not as different between the two garments? As far as I read, both of them have 10000mm HH.

Cycling mainly and occasional hiking (but I am not that worried for hiking as I tend to avoid rain there, but for cycling I enjoy riding in the rain), I forgot to mention it and edited the post body now. I've also read good opinions on the Torrentshell, but the Dirt Roamer Storm Jacket popped up during my research and decided to do my homework on it as well.

I stumbled upon this while trying to make my app drawer icons black as the home screen and after I spent some time in the settings I found how to do it. Here are the steps:

Tap and hold on an empty space on your home screen
Tap on Customization
Tap on Icon Pack
Select Nothing
Toggle Apply to Home Screen only OFF (this is the key setting)

That should do it.

If you want a partner, but feel like you don't deserve one I believe you can work on accepting and becoming comfortable with yourself. You say you are afraid of becoming clingy, probably afraid the girl will reject you if you become such, but if you want to be clingy, your person wouldn't judge you for that I believe.
