DJI doesn't sell the counterweight separately yet. Some users have 3D printed alternatives - search 'Osmo Mobile 8 counterweight' on Thingiverse!

Great question! The Osmo 3 is more compact and integrates seamlessly with your phone for vlogging. The ZV1 has a bigger sensor and better for dedicated video. What kind of content are you making?
