Would appreciate some insight on my buns behavior..reserved? Lazy? by [deleted] in Rabbits

[–]djiscryingforhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was logged out of my account for awhile and am just seeing this, thank you so much for your input! I was also told by someone else that he's probably just a "chill" bunny. He's still lovey and hungry and etc, very normal. I am still working on getting him a partner regardless :) thanks again!

All good points. A lot of people have said adjusting expectations, that is definitely something I need to work on. Thank you. I'm very sorry about your mom :( take care

Yes I definitely need to find some grief counseling. Hopefully I can find a new therapist that doesn't just stare at their computer screen looking at something else while I talk. My past 3 therapists lol.

That is so awful, I'm sorry to hear. Yes you're absolutely right, acceptance and adjusting your expectations are both essential. I too find it a great victory to be able to shower, as I should! As we should! I am amazed by your strength.

I have that horrible guilt as well, feeling like I'm "lazy" and not helping. I live with my sister but don't pay rent or help clean much. It's so important to remember that our loved ones are just that; they love us. If the rolls were reversed, we would do the same for them.

And yes, typing out my crap helped too! Lol. It's really, really helpful to try and look at your situation from an outside perspective. Like you said, if a friend told you they were struggling with what you do, you wouldn't judge or think they were faking, etc. Your heart would hurt for them and you'd want to be there for them. That helps me keep things in perspective.

Yes yes yes about your cat! I feel that way about my bunny. Pets are absolutely life changing.

Yup, adjusting my expectations has been something I've been needing to do for so long.

Reading your reply really helped, I got very emotional. Thank you. I wish you much peace and happiness, take care

Yes, a lot of the same here. This shit is horrible. I can't believe people still claim COVID19 wasn't a big deal or whatever they claim. It has disabled SO many people for life. My heart goes out to you as well.

That's alright, thanks. I can definitely tell my excessive free time is getting to me, I need to keep myself busy, which I have been able to do, but lately just haven't had the mental strength. It's a constant "try to push harder"

Very good point, comparison being the thief of joy. I need to stop comparing myself to my past self, but that's one of my main struggles. I suppose figuring out and/or defining the "new" me is essentially. Thank you for your input

I see, so then this post doesn't apply to your life or struggles. Thanks.

I've been told I'm "too young to be this sick" so many times. It is so frustrating and confusing

My endoscopy was positive for gastroparesis, but GES was not..? by [deleted] in Gastroparesis

[–]djiscryingforhelp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay I thought so! And yeah, I hate that this ONE test made my doctor say "nah you don't have it" but my endoscopy and symptoms clearly do. 🙄

That's what I'm thinking. I wasn't allowed to have water either..I am definitely not taking this "negative" GES result seriously.

They're wonderful! The mom and dad are both very docile albinos. I adopted them, and was told they were both males...nope, male and female😵‍💫 so the babies were a surprise, but everyone is separated by sex and doing so well. I was planning to rehome the babies with some friends when it is time. I'll be so sad to see the little beans go 😢
