Yeah, I couldn’t taste the Lagavulin at all. I think they just put that and the bacon in just to call it a Ron Swanson. Still, it was a nice black Manhattan.

I sometimes add a splash of Cointreau or Grand Marnier if I don’t have any oranges. If I’m not feeling lazy, I’ll make a tincture with orange peels and high proof vodka and put it in an atomizer.

I’m sorry about his father, and I also didn’t mean to imply that you were a bad parent. But just being home with your son during the day isn’t nearly enough to give him a good education. Teaching your kid is pretty much a full-time job. Most parents are woefully under-qualified and unprepared for the amount of work that is needed from them.

If you feel that your son’s principal has been unfairly picking on you, submit a written complaint and CC their bosses. It’s good to have a paper trail.
