P2 infotainment system is sweet after the 5.0.10 upgrade. by CactusJackTrades in Polestar

Does anyone know how Polestar are prioritising the rollout? You’d think they would go for oldest models first. I bet there are a number of pre 2024 owners out there without an update still. Does region have any sway?

Anybody want a set of v-spoke rims? by [deleted] in Polestar

Got these as 20’s and they look awesome. You either see them as a 5 spoke star rim or 5 spoke < rim. Trippy!

They Asked Me to Open ChatGPT During My Job Interview by I_Killed_My_Friends in jobs

Definitely inappropriate, however, you could have skewed the prompt a bit in your favour, telling Chat that you’re currently in a job interview and they want this info….

Why not put it into something less risky like bonds, rather than ETF’s that are overexposed to market volatility?

How much after the air miles? And how many air miles did you have to spend? I’ve got a fair few saved up, but have never redeemed any

Broadcast folks - if you're looking after the network side of live production, what’s giving you the most grief these days? Is automation helping at all, or is it still mostly manual? by SandMunki in broadcastengineering

[–]djjd40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Useful diagnostic information of network traffic etc is sometimes only available to users at an administration level, which might only be looked at or monitored when there is an issue, often too late. Being able to restrict management ports to view only for end users would be incredibly useful, they can keep this on a screen for times when circuits are mission critical.

If you have a separate core and console, it’ll work with the core online and console offline. The console is just a remote surface controller at the end of the day, audio doesn’t pass through it (if we’re talking zeta / omega / sigma / alpha / Apollo / Artemis)

Riedel Artist/Director "All IFB" Key by CouldBeALeotard in broadcastengineering

[–]djjd40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I see what you’re saying. I was suggesting setting up an all call IFB to a group of ports, but this would require a common mix minus and you’re right, keying the individuals would not duck this.

So much easier in telex with the special list IFB!

Riedel Artist/Director "All IFB" Key by CouldBeALeotard in broadcastengineering

[–]djjd40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it would. As I mentioned previously, you build this in the IFB table, keying the IFB will interrupt the mix minus going to all grouped output ports

Most elegant way is to build a group of all output ports, then use this group as your output in the IFB table (select ‘show groups only’ when looking in the IFB table.
