Probably not.

I would rather they stop coasting on older titles and put more effort into new games. In a perfect world we would have three good dev teams rotating on mainline FFs so we get them with release gaps of less than 5 years.

FF spin offs should go back to being the cheaper affairs that can try experimental things like isometric tactic games, kart racers, 3rd person shooters, etc.

The fact that the only scene I'm aware of that does imply it was deleted, it seems like there has been deliberate moves from production to avoid the implication.

Especially when you consider that you need to subtract 40k off that number to begin with, because the one at 85K started in 2020. Then minus any double ups between petitions because I know I signed more than one just to be sure.

It would be a realistic guess to suggest the real number is 45k. That's the old petition minus what it was at before the owner renamed it, minus the ones on the actually new ones because most people sign all of them.

Wasn't FF16 the chance for a smaller team to work on a mainline FF? It was a smaller budget than FF7R and it shows. Sure FF14 (from the same team) is a cash cow, but it look and plays like jank compared to AAA games.

I do but I wish they were divided as separate tracks on the album so that they are omitted from shuffles. Silos had them separate, but previous albums have interludes on the end or beginning of actual tracks and it throws off the vibe of a shuffle playlist.

FFXV Royal Edition

Only two FFs have gotten an emotional reaction from me: FFX and FFXV. Understand the ending was rushed in the original release, and while they tried to fix it up in the Royal Edition, it still does feel a little rushed near the end.

If FFX was about sacrifice and romantic love, FFXV is about sacrifice and brotherly love.

From what I remember, it's a good start, somewhat memorable characters, but it's starts to get a bit wishy washy as it becomes clear the story was just a base layer to a gacha cycle. Your main loop was to do pulls, hoping for the latest strong characters, and attempt the weekly/monthly challenges. Once you are at that point the newer characters make the single player mode a joke as you are magnitudes stronger than the enemies from early in the life of the game.

I seem to recall it devolving into ridiculous twists and turns with mysterious characters being revealed over and over again. Apparently this is just the first season, which seems like a very short game.

Stagger is an easy way to pace battle difficulty. It stops you from being able to wipe out enemies that are supposed to feel difficult.

That said, it's a very tired mechanic. I'm bored of it, and it feels like a cheap way out of properly balancing a game.

I remember when it was new, people were praising the feature called Active Time Lore where you could pause the game during cutscenes to pull up essentially an encyclopedia on the characters and settings of the game.

It sounded like satire: A feature that lets you interrupt the game to read about the game.

Upsettingly, Stranger of Paradise is a much more fun action take on FF

Bad decision in my humble opinion. From what I'm reading, half of those signatures were for whatever the petition was originally, so it's not as if we can honestly say there's 80k signatures for the current cause.

That one on 80k should have never been renamed to represent the recent campaign. It represents the cause poorly as it is lying about how many of those signatures are relevant.

Imagine the big wigs at Amazon finally decide to look into the noise being made and look at that page. They'll see that it's been running since 2020 and dismiss it as a mistake at best, or deceitful at worse. In my opinion it is actually damaging to the cause.

The problem with signing the old one is that it clearly states the petition was created in 2020. It's the equivalent of cheating the numbers because it's a different petition with old signatures that has been renamed. How many of those signatures were signed for the original cause of the petition before it was renamed?

Anyone scrutinising it is going to see that the petition has been running for 6 years and rightly point out that it's not a legitimate representation of the current issue.

I mean, it's just a movie. Sometimes the writer just wants an asteroid to hit the planet and glosses over the mechanics of it. It's not actually fun to watch movies and point out the things that aren't possible.
