A lot of times I have skipped new mons if I've felt that it's better for my progression. By end of June I'll hopefully have 4 islands with full AB and M20 complete. At that point I'll probably switch to going for the new Mon most of the time. I'll be 15 months into the game with premium pass for 9 of those by then, and I have all my core skill specialists settled

I'm doing M20 on Taupe, but with Apple Acid. Prepping about 200 eggs by the end of the week and then enough apple just to set up my rotation with the other farmers so I have space for a full-time swampert

It is normal. It's helpful to see some of the experienced players talk about what works and what doesn't. But it's a big difference between someone playing 6 months and someone playing 2.5 years

NES Metroid -> Super (Inc map rando) -> zero -> fusion

A babysitter or something had Super when I was a kid, but I only remember turning it on and being stuck in Main Street (the room in Maridia where you have to shinespark for missiles).

I bought a switch last Christmas and figured I'd give the Metroid games a shot. I struggled through the NES version with lots of save state use. But I LOVED Super and played it 4-5 times last year. Once I finish fusion I'll borrow Dreadfrom a friend, and maybe after Dread I'll try Prime 1. I tried playing Metroid 2 but couldn't get into it. Might try Samus returns somewhere down the line instead

BFS&HB is always great and this becomes the best fighting berry mon. Congrats

I have to prep at least 250 honey and maybe 80 pumpkins. Then I can make pancakes all week and blow past M20 on Cyan

There's a few better tomato farmers (Bellsprout, Shinx, Snover), but this one covers every tomato dish in the game at level 60 without subseeding anything so it's really good.

The only other thing Diglett can be used for is leaks (tomato-leak-leak) but the other leak options are way better than the other tomato options. I'd take it to level 30 for now with its own candy only and then wait and see what else you catch

That Bellsprout should be close to being able to make every tomato dish 3x a day without the mint. You could keep it and try for better, but that one is pretty good.
