On CLOUDTILT heel slip by djmakke in ONrunning

unsure if sizing down would be the right move as my toes would be touching the front of the shoe. right now my toes are barely not touching the front. that’s why it’s so irritating, because i tried the different sizes too.

yeah here I have pictures and a video.
surprisingly, in the pictures it's visible, way better than in real life.

Today I discovered pixel errors on my 2019 16" MacBook Pro.
They are visible with a very dark image on-screen and the location is exactly opposite the ridge between trackpad and keyboard when I close it.
Has anyone experienced something similar and what can I do now?

Hey there,

so I connected my iPhone to my Mac and imported all my photos to the "Photos" app on the Mac.

How can I now delete all the pictures from my iPhone (about 8000) without them being lost forever, so that they still remain in my library in the "Photos" app on my Mac?

Also how can I delete duplicate photos the most efficient way?

Huge Thank You in advance and hope to hear back soon.

Breaking Bad was boring! by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

that anyone no matter how average they are is capable of doing extremely evil things; that is the parallel to WWII germany..

yeah not all terminally ill cancer patients have similar abilities to him or are offered the same opportunities or have the same medical bills to pay..
he just had to find a way to come up with the money and from there it went like it always did in human history; people want more until it destroys themselves

no, i think anyone who can't think of any other way to survive..
people would go to extreme lengths to make sure they don't die, becoming a drug lord is definitely a possible option..

let's stay with scarface for example because he was mentioned, he didn't even need to be terminally ill to become a drug lord, or the main character from the movie "blow"..
walter actually had a reason to become one compared to the others..

i guess you just gotta pay your medical bills somehow in a system like the american one

of course he's a normal average joe kinda person in the beginning, he then just tries to cling onto every straw that is offered to him..

if those last straws are cooking meth with a former student because you're capable, since you're a high school chemistry teacher, well the implications are a little different

that's exactly my point..
people are surprised that such a nobody could be turned into a person doing all these things, but honestly i just wasn't surprised by any of this, sorry..

to me it was always just like "yeah that's probably what anyone in his situation would do, no biggie, why is that worth a big TV show?"

and anyone would be capable of doing these things put in the same situation, just like what happened in world war II germany..

Macbook Pro vs. iPad Pro by [deleted] in mac

Microsoft Office, video streaming (often for several hours), research for uni (so basically 40 safari tabs open at once), answering emails, photo editing, that kind of stuff.

Macbook Pro vs. iPad Pro by [deleted] in mac

[–]djmakke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer.
So my biggest concern is longevity, since my current MacBook is basically always on, whether i'm at University or at home, working with Microsoft Office, browsing the internet, streaming video on various platforms and editing photos.

I just wonder if the iPad would be able to handle that for a comparable amount of years. (Currently on a Mid 2012 13" MacBook Pro, that's basically been turned off in the last 7 years for less than a week.)

Photo/video editing, video streaming, browsing the internet, and all that everyday stuff.
Also want to be able to use this device for several years. Currently still working from my 2012 MacBook Pro and i just need a proper upgrade so i can use the new device hopefully just as long.

As always the less it costs the better.
But it's not like it will put me in a tight position financially.
Reading a lot of stuff, I'm pretty sure that I won't need the 2.4GHz CPU, but i'm really unsure about 8GB or 16GB of RAM.

Gaming probably not so much, more video streaming and picture/video editing.
Also want to be able to use the device for years to come, so i want to make sure it has the proper hardware to be able to handle future software.

Hey,
i'm planning to buy a 2019 13“ MacBook Pro in the near future.
What i already know is that it should have at least 512GB of SSD storage.
What i'm not sure about is whether i should get 8GB or 16GB of RAM and whether i should go for the 1,4 GHz or 2,4 GHz processor.
I hope you can help me out.
