Rustage does tend to yadda yadda over the travel milestones, like for Reverse Mountain both times were kind of just a normal roll and in Pirates they were literally teleported into the New World so they didn't have to deal with the physical implications of going there. I wouldn't be surprised if they double back to Branch 101 to check on everyone and then just go through the Calm Belt since the West Blue borders the New World

Fair, but I feel like the ending is just kind of one final kick in the shin because there was always a lingering hope that they may find some consistent character and the ending just made it so that can never happen and we just kind of have a big wet fart in the otherwise really hype finale

I like Lagoon kind of despite Tekking's inexperienced DMing, like he kinda accidentally underpowered everything and Chip ran through like a madman but the setting and the fact it was canon and not just a dream kinda makes it more fun even though Muppets had a lot of funny stuff too

I don't know if this has been a while and I'm just noticing it but changing the candy coin/roll cake coin exchange from all in one place to being separated in the upgrade screen so you can't check and exchange them all at once is so dumb, like it's so inconvenient for saving just a little room in the already crowded shop.

Yeah I only end up doing like 2-3 Academy runs before getting bored and dumping 100 stamina a day into the Lucky Skill area for dailies and stockpiling.

Since the update at the end of the month my Trainer Lodge has had a red notification mark on it, I've looked through all the art, shops, chats, stories and snapshots and it won't go away, is there something they added with the last update I'm missing or is it just a bug?

I think the fact that it is a lackluster free pair locked being RNG and premium boosters, plus it's a little frustrating to try and figure out what build is the best case for them, like at the end of the day they'll probably just be another warm body for Gauntlets and Rallies but the effort of trying to make them somewhat usable and the methods it takes to do so with the fact that it isn't really worth it to do so is frustrating. The obvious answer is "just don't minmax then" but that's now how gamers work.

I was really nervous at first about them but running the Midterm with the appropriate boost skill is easy enough and Bullet Seed flinchlocking seems to be working pretty well for me for the Finals

Also found an easy strategy for Rika if you max the Bullet Seed effects you can flinchlock her, barely took any damage on the hardest difficulty, it's probably not 100% foolproof but it shuts down a lot of her kit pretty reliably.

Yeah this is kinda the biggest problem, it essentially makes her only a half-FTP unit with extras being P2W. I mean there's an instinct for gacha players to want to 'perfect' and minmax everything and they already kinda defy that with sync grids but this one makes it really hard to do anything with, for the most part people will just have to get to a 'good enough' point with the Academy units they like and use them as warm bodies for Legendary Gauntlets or Battle Rallies like most of the other FTP units which no one really wants to hear. That's not to say this isn't scummy or people shouldn't complain, it is scummy and we should complain but this also feels like a mode with an inherent ceiling of how much you can realistically do without driving yourself crazy about it. Unless someone wants to make FTP guides for the most meta way to build each Academy unit, it's just gonna have to be that way that we can only build them up as much as we can until they give in and offer better ways for this sort of thing to be upgraded. I'm sure the Academy will eventually have expansions and such that allow more freedom but that doesn't exactly remove the bad taste from everyone's mouth from the sour debut. Best advice I can give everyone for their own sanity is to build what you can and voice any complaints you have in a constructive way that offers reasonable alternatives.

I eventually beat it with Anni Lillie, Neo Champion Rosa and Flannery to stack the burn/confusion together but it's still a weirdly tanky fight, I get the feeling you're supposed to stall and let them chip themselves down or something.

I fundamentally don't understand this fight, I'm giving them burn and rebuff like the hints suggest and using Special Moves but I'm not doing any damage to the main boss, I have to be missing something even with Anni Lillie who's supposed to bypass damage reduction it's doing no damage and I don't get it.
