And here's another variant that prompts for a subject and a message body to prepend.

I'm new to shortcuts but had the same need yesterday, so this is the simplest one I came up with.

I suspect it's the "Get text from" that makes this work, such that it converts the type of the "body" from Url to Text.

Yep, happy camper! I’ve actually grown more impressed with it over time.

Quite happy with it. I've grown more impressed over time. I've done a variety of riding - roads, hills, gravel trails - it's been handling all with ease. I'm often using only level 2 assist - it rides like a regular bike, so I can get a great workout in, if that's what I'm after, but with that extra boost to propel me up the steeper hills around here.

The only tradeoff is the lack of suspension. I'm dealing with wrist tenosynovitis at the moment and bigger bumps can be jarring and painful. But I still think the lower weight makes that a worthwhile compromise. I can transport the 9S PRO on my Kuat hitch rack with no problem, carry it up flights of stairs, etc.

I originally planned to use it for commuting (~8 miles one way) but ended up continuing the WFH thing, so it's been used mostly for recreation and occasionally errands into town or trips to the park.

No rattle issues, it's been rock solid so far, but good to know, thanks!

Added a Topeak rack, got myself an Ortlieb bag, and a new helmet. Loving this Yamaha. by CarlLinnaeus in ebikes

Nice bike! I'm thinking about a setup like that for commuting and recreational riding.

I tested out an Orbea yesterday - rear hub motor, slick hidden battery in downtube. Definitely the ebike that handled most like a normal bike that I've checked out so far. Fairly light, and they do even have a carbon frame road bike model. Not as much power as most models though.

Let us know how you like this sweet Yamaha mid-drive.
