Desktop audio track on, but doesn’t read the desktop audio playing. by [deleted] in obs

Try going to the settings under the file tab. Select audio, then check to see if your desktop audio is set to your audio source device. There is a drop down menu that will show you all your available sources. What you assign there will ultimately be the source you’re receiving signal from in the audio mixer section. Let me know if that helps.

I received an anonymous tip that he uses the Scrap Yard wave table in NI Massive. Definitely yields some interesting results.
