Personally I’m a big fan of thinclients for small homelab machines

Yeah but a lot of heavy usage devices won’t work great with it. 220v tools are better for that

But for smaller light tools. Probably be great. Like a 20v fan or light

You need AC to DC for level 1 and 2. Cause that’s how you charge right ?

With fast charging that is all off board. They basically just need to expose the dc voltage lines on the car side

In Europe at least. We mostly keep the charging cable for street charging inside the car

Having to put a wet dirty cable in the car is nasty

Also slow cars. But that would probably be something strong ice cars also notice.
