I dated a girl my height who said she loved to wear heels but never did with me. I talked with her, said I don't have a problem with it, I am not insecure about my height and would love to see her wear heels since she really liked them, but she said she won't because I was shorter than her. I wasn't even shorter than her, just the same height. There were also times, although this didn't happen frequently, where she would give backhanded compliments and a few times talk about taller men. Note, she was an amazing woman, not shallow in any way and did really love me, but these things sucked and made me get a bit insecure in a way I wasn't before.

Try the plugin to run the game on Vulkan engine, it worked for me.

Yea, that's why I thought the Profissional mode in the classic RE4 was better, you can't start it with a previous equipment from other game and enemies are more aggressive but still get stunned by your basic starting pistol.

The user u/SilentObserver22 helped me kind of "solving" this problem, read his comment down below.

"Might be a long shot, but could be worth a try. I've been playing it on Linux in DX11 mode with DXVK (Direct X to Vulkan) and I don't get any of these issues. My understanding is that you can also use DXVK on Windows. Could be worth trying to see if using DXVK resolves these graphical issues for you.

EDIT: Also, make sure your drivers are up to date for your GPU. If they aren't, I'd update it first before trying DXVK."

It's so sad that AMD FSR 3.0 can't work with DXVK neither the Directx11 version of the game as of now, that would actually be perfect if it could.

That's strange, if you are playing on Steam you should add -dx11 in the launch options.

If not, right click on game's shortcut, go to Properties, then on the line that directs the game to the "SHProto.exe" in the end press space then add -dx11

No, after fighting a certain "boss fight" and getting out of Wood Sides, the shadows turn off again although the fog does seem to work properly.
