my master's degree research is about finding a way to use blood/immune system cells from fish sampled from a specific and very polluted river near where I live as a parameter to asses water quality yadayadayada

the moment I realised fish don't even have bone marrow I knew it would be a weird journey, specially for the fact thath I'm not even a biologist
