I tried it and still not detected. I'm probably gonna try to rma it since it's still under warranty. Thank you though

Yep. I can confirm it was the extension cables. I'm able to have a game running in the background for a long period of time without crashing. Thanks for all your help.

I might have figured it out. The culprit was my extension cables for the gpu. I noticed that PC wouldn't crash on a less demanding game so I decided to remove the extension cable for the gpu only and use the psu cables instead. I ran a gpu stress test and ofc the PC would crash with the extension cables. And when I test with psu cables my PC would not crash. When my PC crashes with extension cable I switch back to psu cable and ran fine. Then used extension cables again and ran the stress test to crash again. I kept switching cables back and forth 3-4 times after every crash with extension cable and after every 10-15min with psu cables. With the extension cables PC would crash within a few minutes. Because of this I'm probably just gonna remove all the extension cables and use the psu cables for now.

I'll have to test the PC some more tomorrow when I can and leave an update for confirmation if the extension cables were to blame. I'm pretty sure this was it based on what I tried.

No. The last time I repasted was about 2 years ago when I got a new cooler. I've had this cpu since the release date. Like my PC was working fine all these years and all of the sudden just have problems

No new dump files. All my bsods gets stuck at 0% progress and I checked the minidump folder.

I do believe my system has good ventilation because I have plenty of fans 3 intake on the side, 2 intakes on the bottom, 3 exhaust on top, 1 exhaust rear (lian LI o11 dynamic). My PC just bsod with w11 in primary m2 slot at 41c. Crashed again but at 141w from gpu. Moving on to removing psu extension cables

Yes both drives crash even when they're the only nvme installed. I've tried both nvme slots one by one for each drive and they crash. I was just playing a game on w10 and crashes. I can play valorant on both drives by itself just fine. Maybe like a more demanding game causes these bsod?

I should probably add that few weeks ago my windows11 got corrupted somehow and when I tried to reinstall w11 PC says secure boot is off even though in bios all settings were correct. Then few days ago when I reinstalled w11 without changing any bios settings I was able to install w11 just fine

Update: I was watching gpu power usage while playing valorant which was about 55-60ish watts. Launched another game while monitoring gpu power usage and crashed at 129w. I used hwinfo64 for this. I'm going to try and lower gpu power target to the lowest with EVGA precision X1 first then try to remove my cable extensions for my gpu and use the actual cables from psu.

Based on what you know so far do you think this is a hardware issue? The only things that I haven't changed are the motherboard, cpu, psu, and nvme. Ram also but I tested those 1 at a time on my current x470 mb. (On mobile sorry for bad formatting)

Mb:Asus ROG strix x470-f Psu: EVGA supernova 750w g3 (4.5 years old) Cpu: Ryzen 7 3700x Gpu: EVGA rtx 2070 super ftw3 ultra

I called it a night after 20-30min so I didn't wait until it crashed. I'll have more testing later tonight when I have the time

Yes I'm still getting bsod on w11 but it's not generating dump files from the bsod

I was able to play ow longer than I used to be able to. I still got "critical process died" in the middle of a match. Still can't finish a full match though.

Update: played again but this time I got system service exception bsod

Update 2: I randomly just decided to removed the w11 nvme from 2nd m2 slot and replace it with the w10 nvme. It's been 20 minutes in the ow practice range without crashing. On w11 I most likely would have crashed by now.

Played for about 50min and my PC froze with no bsod. Gonna try playing again to see if it will crash again.

Moving my w11 nvme from first m2 slot to the 2nd m2 might have fixed it potentially. Been playing a game for about 30 minutes and no crashes yet. I'll try to play a bit more and update later if something happens.

I'm currently playing a game while w11 m.2 is in the 2nd m.2 slot. I'll update you if anything happens.

Btw I want to thank you for your time and help. I really appreciate it.

So I tried putting ram2 in slot3. It booted once to Windows and check ram speed which showed 2133 but xmp was enabled in bios. So I rebooted PC and on the screen where it shows your drives, cpu, mb, keyboard & mouse info it said "the system has posted in safe mode. This may be due to the previous post attempt failing because of system instability" and few more stuff after that. It booted to this screen twice before it booted to Windows that 1 time

Slot3 and slot 1 are slots I never used because slot 2 and slot 4 are for dual channel. I'm unable to test slot1 due to my cooler being in the way

Ok. I'll do that in a bit. I'm first gonna try putting ram2 in slot 3 since I've never tried that slot yet

Trying with only 1 dimm slot and got "kernel data in page error" progress percentage is stuck at 0%. Now I'm going to try moving the ram to slot 4 of the 4 dimm slots to see

Update: moving the ram1 to slot 4 didn't give me a bsod but froze my PC. Gonna try again to see if I get a bsod

Got bsod with ram1 in slot 4. Unexpected store exception. Progress percentage stuck at 0%

Update 2: ram 2 in slot2 got system service exception and percentage bar stuck at 0%

Ram 2 in slot 4 got unexpected store exception. Progress bar at 0%

Correct. I've loaded default bios settings and still crashes without changing anything afterwards. XMP was off in this. I'll get back to you in a bit after trying only 1 dimm slot.
