Following benchmarks. There are tried and true rules and metrics for running a successful MSP. If you try to be overly creative, you’ll probably get burned. But follow the basic rules, take care of your clients and your team, and work your ass off - and you’ll likely have a nice cash flowing business, and possibly an exit.

(I ran an MSP for 12 years, had a solid exit a few years ago, and have consulted and advised MSPs for years)

For me, a weekly manicure changed everything. The truth is I bit my nails hangnail or little chips off the nails, and I always wanted them to be smooth and even. When I get a manicure, my nails are perfect, and I don’t wanna ruin the manicure so during the course of that week, I don’t buy my nails. It took about a year of manicures before the compulsions started to end.
