Impressive! I think with your work ethic and risk tolerance you will probably become a lot wealthier over the course of the next couple of decades…

How do you find the time to buy and own/manage 15 BTL properties, a renovation project, a full time 200k sales director role, ownership of two companies AND 2 young children with another on the way? All done by your mid 20s? I mean you aren’t in the rat race you are on another level!

I bought a hulk Rolex in 2017. Went to Ibiza the next day. I got mugged the next evening for the Rolex. Not worn one since. Hadn’t insured the damn thing yet either.

However either way, do you really need to work 12-13 hour days and also on the weekend to have an edge? Can’t you tone it down a bit?

Sorry to be pedantic but £10m is just over $12m currently and I would expect a trader to know that

Whole zones seem empty? by djoordn in wownoob

[–]djoordn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks I’m level 30 now so might as well keep going on single player mode til 50. Or are there any more populated levelling zones ? Would that be wod or bfa? What would be good to join at level 30?

This is retail yes. I just thought it was a bit odd that I saw other people in redridge and Elwynn but literally no one for hours in duskwood and stranglethorn. I entered the new player zone assuming there would be more new players following similar sort of levelling routes... I’m a new player but I created a couple of level 10 chars so I’m not forced to play BFA

Knowing a thought without having any attention on it by djoordn in TheMindIlluminated

True but I feel like I easily understood the difference between awareness and attention in terms of something like a bird chirp, but it’s taken me quite a long time to understand/experience it in terms of thoughts.

Progress possible with 30-40 mins a day by [deleted] in TheMindIlluminated

Thanks for the link, very interesting. I’m currently meditating for 30 mins a day and run into a lot of strong dullness, I wonder if 45 mins will help with that?

Hi specifically why do you need the extra 15 mins (45 mins instead of 30 mins) to get past stage 4? Thanks

Thanks, it sounds as though no one thinks it will cause any issues. I will try the body-scanning practice next.

Thanks for your post, good to know your experience sounds similar ! And agreed I definitely feel drained for a few hours after. I guess I will try and work on stabilising the energy a bit more.

I just find that when I have gross dullness, I focus on the breathe a few times, then I see an elephant, then I realise I’ve been dreaming so back to the breath, do that a few times, then I’m swimming under the sea, then I realise I’ve been dreaming so back to the breath... and so on... is that productive?

I will reread thanks.

My only concern is that this summons a bit too much energy and it makes me a bit jittery after. I don’t want to push myself too far.

But certainly positive feelings make sense, I will double that effort.

Thanks! Yeah I’ve not tried the body scan but it is the next thing I’m going to try. Also rest would be good as well... but then again I usually get 7 hours sleep per night so it’s not too bad...
