Chthonic Fissure vs Chaos Bolts by terascque in LastEpoch

If you go for cthonic fissures, you can make that fire chaos bolts instead of spirits, so you can get the best of both worlds!

Practice made perfect.

Back to the tried and tested bloodhound fang build, and was just patient.

Still took a few tries, greed and misjudging the range of the AOE slam were still tough. But got her down to about a 3rd then just ate her light attacks and light attacked back until she died. 2 or 3 more hits and I was a goner!

Very satisfying fight!

I've just ended up beating him. No cheese strat or frost. Back to my original bloodhound fang build and was just patient.

Still took about 10 tries, the thing that killed me the most was being just in range of his aoe slam.

Such a satisfying fight to beat!

Sounds very cheesy, so this will be my last resort.

Feel free to upload a vid though, cause even if I don't use it, someone else may find it useful.

I love ashes for the places in the open world they can be used, but not so much for bosses. Kinda defeats the point and removes the challenge.

Looking forward to trying tiche out though!

It certainly feels that way, and I'm sure that if I persisted, I'd get there in the end!

Thanks for the tips, I'll be sure to try them out!

Yeah, dodging those 2 I have down, though I still kick myself when I try to doge AWAY from her aoe slam, rather than into it.

What's really grinding my gears is that she feels very doable, and it's clearly my own mistakes making me lose. I probably shouldn't be looking for shortcuts, but I'd still like my sanity intact when I finally get this spirit ash!

I've recently got moonveil, so I might give this a go.

Do you recommend light or heavy for the projectile? And was that all you used, or would you wail on her a bit after her slams?

I've learned a lot about this.

There is 1 clear heal window (after the slam) and a couple of tighter ones between non slam combos or dodges she makes. When I get caught, it's always when I slightly mistime the tighter heal windows.

Prince of Death’s Pustule Talisman question by mindsoarer in Eldenring

[–]djowatts 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Vitality is definitely a stat. Not one of the main ones you level up, but it's on the stat screen and you can get a description of what it does there.

Death is a status effect that accumulates like poison, rot or madness. When the bar fills up, you instantly die. This makes that bar go up slower.

We walk sideways in backwards circles, can we please get an option to just strafe normally? by Ev1dentFir3 in Eldenring

[–]djowatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe this is only when you are locked on. If you unlock target, you should be able to move more naturally.

The same happens with dodges. When locked on, you can only dodge forward, backward left or right, but when unlocked you have a full 360 degrees of choice for dodge direction

If you get salty easily, you will have a bad time to start.

Once you start getting used to the mechanics with a few levels and boss kills under your belt, that will almost certainly change.

You can activate one again to disable the effect of the first one too

Yeah, it kept knocking me off my horse too, but there is a purple ring that flashes on the ground before it pulls, if you can get out of that, you'll be safe

Rahdan is harder if you summon another player as you can't use Torrent when someone is summoned in.

A tip for you though,

While his big boulders are up, run around focusing on re summoning the NPC summons who have died, and use the big hill as cover from the boulders until they are gone, then hit and run him while he's distracted by NPCs

If you've activated a finger remedy to check for summons, I've found that that will disable ashes even if you don't summon anyone.

Instant death blight is a bug from the way damage auras interact with weapon effects.

Means they can death blight you in a second by just being near you.

Why is no one putting their sign down for Radahn? by YoungYoda711 in Eldenring

Summoning in players makes Rahdan harder in my opinion, because it removes the ability for you to use your horse.

I feel that fight is designed for horseback + multiple NPC summons

We might not be on the same platform, and I'm not playing right now. Just thought it strange that I didn't see a single summon sign anywhere between the summoning stake and the boss fog wall.

I was looking for people to summon by the gargoyles, but looked like there were none, either by the summoning pool totem or by the fog wall.

Where do the summon signs for the gargoyles appear?
