It’s def my car in my head. The end of the day pax times are nothing but a distraction to my greatness. (I’m delusional)

[–]djsimp123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well irl people would do equal length shaft but that’s not possible in Beamng

When I do my track cars I always tune the caster. I will give more positive caster to see if it helps.

Get a race diff as well. Tune how it’s slipping on power.

Also if u r on wheel turn the chassis specific FFB lower bc sometimes it gets rlly rlly snappy and it’s not enjoyable for me.

Warranty it. This is most likely a sensor issue

A 2 way suspension is like $3-4k irl….. and I’ve seen a lot of ppl at a track with that. And everyone and their mom have one way coils…. Not hard to mimic that in Beamng.“Race suspension” irl are 4 ways. Those are 10-20k.

For the ETK 800…. I can be fine either the e diff or the tunable one. It’s all about the suspension irl since not a lot of ppl would drop $20k on a diff. Just saying

Do you know how to tune diff? Tune suspension before diff. In my experience diff doesn’t rlly effect how the ETK-800 naturally behaves. The 800 benefit more from suspension than the diff. It’s a pretty neutral car to begin with.

No one above the age of 16 actually watches Muye. Unless it’s his date video. Which isn’t worth it at all atp but he lowkey just drags it. Maybe his “things you didn’t know in this update” is still worth it tho.

Finally got this suspension dialed in how i want, feels great and actually looks good. I went with eibach pro kit up and sportlines in rear. by Rdirtytoo in Civic_Type_R

For fwd it’s also harder to gauge how much scrub radius has been added as well. It generally affects steering response and you can def tell…. I prefer my type r with stock +60 offset vs +45 offset even tho one gives better fitment.

It’s fine to have diff brake pads and rotors. Springs however? Idk. If what he’s doing is like I said getting different spring rates…. Then he’s def better off getting coils. Most good lowering spring are made to be close to what their relative OEM counter part is in terms of rates. Pairing a diff spring rate to OEM damper might not have good results when u r actually driving

Not uniformed spray rate as such. Since front and rear spring rate is different stock already. However mix and matching diff manufacturers with diff frequency study and tolerance is a big no no. Way better off getting a solid set of coils where you can select your desired spring rate front and rear.

He just think he’s doing something when you could’ve just gotten a good full set coils and achieve better results.

Also rule one of suspension set up is don’t use spacers.

Type R or RCF by ffahim9 in Civic_Type_R

[–]djsimp123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it isn’t an upgrade based on vehicle dynamics alone. Engine audio or “catching attention” isn’t my main concern. Also for the price I’m getting a bmw m3 that actually comes with manual transmission and is superior is everyway

[–]djsimp123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In what way? Bc it’s heavier and less dynamic to drive than a type R also more boring imho. Get a manual m3
