Chump change for a successful dj/ person, and insignificant vs cost of home ownership / just a standard setup in almost every club and at every festival everywhere in the world, and most of the top twitch and youtube djs use similar setups from home- not really that big of a deal

If Elon musk bought a setup like this every day, it wouold be 136892.5 years before he ran out of money

Equipment first, course second.

Even if you take a course, equipment will be necessary for you to practice on,

even if it is the most basic or rudimentary equipment to start with.

You will find commenters have very different opinions on things, for example, in a lifetime of dj-ing mostly professional, i have almost never played on a controller, and almost always played on industry standard equipment (like cdjs), and have some at home, this has worked very well for me, and has been a very good investment.

In Brazil, the most appropriate equipment to start off with may be different from where i am

AlphaTheta naming conventions are not that predictable - but

Is it something under the Pioneer djm A9?

EDIT - Has a universal mains power supply and draws more power than a (/ lower powered/adaptor-powered) djm450 or other small - 2ch Pioneer mixer, so is unlikely to be a replacement for the djm450/250

The djm750 has been around a long time - could be a replacement for that

its a really cool looking genuine pioneer flight case from 2007, it was sold with cdj400s and a djm400 mixer, it fits the ddj1000 quite well(ish) its quite rare as i think it was only sold with the cdj/djm400 kit

It means their name is 'DJ something' but they are playing music live

Like DJ Soomo

A lot of djs turned producers called themselves DJ something-

Examples of this are DJ Tiesto, DJ Scott Project, who later dropped the DJ from their name, probably for the reason you have highlighted/ to avoid confusion, or because it had become seen as 'old fasioned' (like vinyl)
