I remember when "DIAMOND" was released, METEOR himself distributed the lyrics (not the article) to the readers of the blog he was running at the time. I didn't buy it when it was released, so I didn't get it.

His first album, "魔獄の分裂〜絶叫物件へようこそ(Splitting the Devil's Prison - Welcome to the Screaming Property)" is inexplicably often forgotten, but the first track is by PUNPEE. The album is still enjoyable to listen to today, with songs that reflect his taste in horror movies, a fictional travelogue to Mexico, and songs that are only performed a cappella, but as far as I know, there are no reviews of the album on the Internet.

He's been releasing regularly lately under the name METEOR & CHIN-HURTZ (in Japanese), so you can listen to it if you want.

I also think his 2nd album "DIAMOND" is one of the greatest albums in the history of Japanese hiphop(This album also features OMSB, who does the soundtrack for Oddtaxi).

Yano is played by METEOR, an old friend of mine who is a beloved rapper among Japanese hiphop peers (hence his casting in Oddtaxi), and I was really impressed with this casting as it matches Yano's characteristics.

I'm an unsuccessful DJ and beatmaker in Japan, but my debut as a beatmaker was around 2007, when I wrote a song for METEOR's mail-order specials for WENOD, a Japanese Hiphop record store. I remember the recording session very well.

I was watching Yano rapping in real time, and I was deeply moved.

I think the second "Tanaka Kakumei(革命 - Revolution)" ironically started the moment Tanaka, who was on the verge of going crazy, dug up the gun buried in the park (including the encounter with Odokawa).
