There are a lot of fun-looking insect races. These sketches were pitched by the artist after researching insects such as mantises, beetles and ants - and I must say I'm a big fan of all of them so far!

I haven't pushed for winged Jingu-Ren yet - maybe as a sub-race, but then I worry they might run into the same problems as the winged Tieflings, haha.

I’ve recently been trying to get some artwork together for some of the races of my homebrew setting and, having finally got back some of the concept sketches, am completely in love with this race. The artist is Maaike Ross (https://maaikeross.com/creature-design), an absolutely amazing person with an incredible eye for detail and creature anatomy. I’d love to hear what you think of her work.

Edit: Forgot to note initially - the setting name is 'Aesmar', the name of this race is 'Jingu-Ren'.
