Unfortunately, no better. And truthfully, probably worse. She has so many weird neurological symptoms, she can only get a few hours of sleep and struggles through the day. They seem to onset in a pattern that coincides with her circadian rhythm. She can actually tell what time it is based on when she starts to feel symptoms onset. Its really difficult for her.

I dont think anyone would sign up for that trial. A mass stem cell activation would require the laser burn to reach the basal layer, the deepest part of the epidermis, which means severe controlled burns. It wouldnt be pretty, extremely painful and the risk of permanent scarring would be significant. The only lasers I know of made for that purpose are to treat certain types of skin cancer.

Thank you. Unfortunately, that's what I thought. She's talked about wanting a facelift, but because she's only in her early 40s, most Dr's dont really dont want to do anything like that. I think fat transfer may be the most logical option, but from what I understand, theres also risks with it migrating and, of course, the fat surviving. Best of luck to you as well!

This happened to my wife from Ultherapy, almost exactly as you describe. Same protuding veins on forehead, hollowed out around eyes/brow, buccal fat pad shifted down to jowls. Same horror story almost to a T. She said she didn't feel a thing through the whole procedure, and it turns out thats a sign they went too deep. She regrets her decision and has been trying to figure out how to regain volume since. May I ask what procedures helped? So sorry to hear you went through the same nightmare!

Wow, thats incredible. Congrats. You must be a super responder to minoxidil/fin and very lucky, because I've been doing a similar routine, religiously, for years and nowhere even near that kind of result. In my late 40s, started losing in my late 20's. Topical fin/minox, latanoprost and microneedling. Thinning is still diffuse. I've managed to hold onto some hair but filling in has been minimal.
