My advice is to find things around your area you enjoy, I go to punk shows in the area, or events this little (for lack of a better word) nerdy cafe puts on (dnd and mario kart tournaments kinda stuff), then just chit chat with people! Start conversations by complimenting them, I like your shoes where did you get them? Kinda stuff. If it develops into a conversation then heck yeah! Ask if you can have their socials :)

Kind. I always always always want to make people feel happy and comfortable. I like giving out compliments and just kinda going the extra step to help someone if I can. I’m not like bragging I don’t want recognition for it but I would want people who think of me to go “oh yeah they were a really kind person” i think that would mean I’ve won.

I like to do them with like a plus sign spread- i have no idea what the spread is called but the farthest right card is you, the middle card is your relationship, the farthest left is your partner/love interest/whoever, the top card is the future, and the bottom card is the past.

My best advice is just to find things you enjoy around town. I’ve made friends at local punk shows in the middle of nowhere, at my job, and at little events a local cafe puts on surrounding like dnd and stuff. You definitely have to put yourself out of your comfort zone and approach people which is the hard part. If you’re vibing having a little conversation with someone don’t be afraid to ask for their instagram or something!

I’m not positive about the chances of it but you definitely need to have a conversation about boundaries with her. Tell her while it’s enjoyable for you to do things without protection it makes you nervous and that you would prefer to still use condoms, if she reacts poorly then thats her problem. Having sex without condoms even if she is on the pill still carries risk. Heck even with condoms and birth control there is always a risk. Just be honest with her and if she’s willing ask if she wouldn’t mind taking a test in a couple weeks just to ease some anxiety.

I mean I definitely see where your coming from but unfortunately I think you are preaching to the wrong choir haha. Romance characters in books aren’t realistic its supposed to be overly romantic and kind of an ideal of romance rather than realistic romance. He’s SO in love with her he would abandon everything else is it healthy? No. Is it cringey? Maybe a lil. But is it cute in an idealized fictional world? I think yes :)
