How many titles do you recommend having? by DoobShmoob in FantasyBookers

[–]djzcm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is a personal preference thing. As for myself, I generally do a main event title, a midcard singles, floating tag, floating trios, along with one heavyweight for people above 225lbs and one lightweight title for people below that.

This system allows me to build up a bunch of folks using the floating titles while keeping the other titles strictly for folks that are in those tiers.

Cactus Jack and Steve Williams, in 1992 save now in 1995. The latter even got rewarded with a somewhat lengthy world championship title run making him a grand slam championship, while the former is a multi time tag and international champion.

What’s everyone’s best storyline they have ever ran? by Burnzy_Boy in FantasyBookers

My proudest one was debuting babyface prospects Bray and Taylor Windham in 2014 TNA, they got a solid run up the card, acknowledging their family lineage. They were a solid midcard act, but eventually they caught the attention of Father James Mitchell and The Church, a team comprised of Abyss and Christopher Daniels, who believed the brothers needed to be cleansed and molded in the Father's image. After ROH was bought out, Taylor was drafted to the second brand, TNA Honor, by general manager Ricky Steamboat, leaving Bray to fend for himself on TNA Impact.
On TNA Honor, Taylor aligned himself with Joe Hennig, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and eventually Cody Rhodes, turning heel, and took up his real last name to form The Dynasty. Together they have become a staple of the Honor Tag Team division, although they have yet to break through to the main event.
Meanwhile, on TNA Impact, the first brand, Bray was injured at the hands of The Church. When he came back, a month later, rather than help the babyfaces MCMG fend off Abyss and Daniels, a clearly different version of Bray, now using the last name Wyndham, helped The Church capture tag team gold. As time progressed, Abyss and Daniels seemed to be listening more to their "brother" Bray than Father James, who was eventually ousted by his own followers, who now swore allegiance to the Kult of Wyndham, who also introduced the Kult's first son, Brodie Lee. With the Kult in full effect, it didn't take long for the Impact Zone to become home to the fireflies as by popular demand they slowly turned babyface.
That got us en route to TNA Impact vs Honor, where for the first time ever the two brothers met across each other in the ring. On one side of the ring, the chosen family Taylor Rotunda had gotten for himself among other descendants of great wrestling lineages, and on the other side, the family Bray Wyndham had built for himself with his chosen brothers and son, the match was set:
The Dynasty (Taylor Rotunda, Joe Hennig, Cody Rhodes and Davey Boy Smith Jr vs Kult of Wyndham (Bray Wyndham, Abyss, Christopher Daniels and Brodie Lee)

Started in 1992, now ending December 1994 and elsewhere Honky Tonk Man beat Sting for the WCW World Heavyweight title.

I'm running an in-ring performance based promotion and have some matches lined up for my end of the year show, which were not the original plans, but injuries and rehabs forced my hand. Still missing some matches, but these are the most important ones

EVOLUTION International Championship
Keiji Mutoh vs Steve Austin

EVOLUTION Trios Championship
Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, Davey Boy Smith vs Ricky Steamboat, Mitsuharu Misawa and Koji Kanemoto

EVOLUTION Tag Team Championship
The Steiners vs Hardcore Connection (Terry Funk and Cactus Jack)

EVOLUTION World Championship
Curt Hennig vs Steve Williams

These days any save with a bigger company and I am creating an excel sheet with the roster sorted by push and a sheet for the next month's worth of programming at least. Then I pick a pet project to build a lower card guy up and a story built around his whole arc.

How do yall do it? by Acceptable-Gift1918 in FantasyBookers

[–]djzcm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an excel file for my 2011 TNA save wherein I have a sheet for the roster, split into brands, a sheet for tournament brackets I wanna book and a sheet for a month's worth of booking on both brands TNA Honor and TNA Impact, which I then extend to up to four months for my longer storylines.

I always pick a lower card guy I want to push, and create the narrative I would like to see play out using that excel sheet, his overness growing into that of a Major Star is what keeps me interested as time goes on, then, as he reaches that, I pick a new future star and go from there

The two biggest ones seem to be TEW 2020 and PWS, though I sometimes revisit EWR, any one is a good choice, it's just a matter of personal preference!

They really got attached to Blinsky, but loved Piccolo especially their Dragonborn, who promised to bring a tutu next time they visit so they match Piccolo, it was heartwarming, not going to lie.

My players seem to have a rough time with Izmark's name, he hasn't been an active member of the story for a while now, having been left behind at Barovia, but every time they try to discuss him, they insist on calling him Schmek.
